STUDIO EDUCATION 

The Studio Education Program is Dance Place’s on-site youth and adult dance class program taught by Dance Place faculty. Class offerings include a wide array of styles and levels to provide high quality dance training for beginners through professional level dancers.
 

KIDS ON THE MOVE YOUTH CLASSES (KOM)

Dance Place’s Kids on the Move program provides dance education to youth students in the DMV area on site at Dance Place. Classes are accessible, inclusive and designed to provide the foundation of dance education for ages toddlers to teens. We offer affordable tuition with payment plans and scholarship options. Classes are offered for the Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer sessions by registration. The spring session culminates with a performance opportunity in the Annual Spring Youth Showcase.

ADULT CLASSES  

Dance Place’s Adult Classes are drop-in based and offer a wide variety of classes for adult class students. Held on the Dance Place campus 7 days a week, adult class students will engage in classes that are community based, welcoming and inclusive. Classes range from beginner level to advanced.

ARTIST MASTER CLASSES   

Dance Place presents Artist Master Classes with local, national and international artists to Dance Place adults and youth. Artists are often from our Presentation series and will offer community classes and workshops in combination with their Dance Place performance weekend. Schedule varies and updates are made via the Dance Place website.
