Shannon Quinn

Shannon Quinn (she/her/hers) graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with K-12 certification. Shannon has taught throughout the DC Metropolitan area in DC public and charter schools and in studio settings. For the past ten years, Shannon has served on the faculty at the Catholic University of America where she teaches beginning and intermediate modern dance classes. As the Director of Dance Place’s Education programs, Shannon is responsible for the coordination of 8 programs, including the organization’s residencies at over 30 schools annually. In 2011, Shannon co-founded ReVision dance company, a resident contemporary company at Dance Place, and currently serves as its Artistic Director. Shannon and ReVision have made a particular commitment to working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Shannon received her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2018.
