Rebecca Sproul-Gushue (she/her) is a movement and textile artist, who creates performance work and choreography as well as quilts and costumes. Rebecca earned an M.F.A. in Choreography and Performance from the College at Brockport, a B.A. in dance from Goucher College, and is also a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor. For the past 12 years she has worked as a professional artist and arts administrator in Brooklyn, Detroit, and Philadelphia. As a DC/Metropolitan transplant, originally from New Gloucester, Maine, Rebecca is excited to join the active and thriving arts community here in Brookland. She feels passionately about philanthropy in the arts and is excited to join Dance Place as the Individual Giving Associate and work closely with individual donors and the Board of Directors.
