Amanda Tuman

Amanda Tuman is a senior undergrad at the University of Maryland double majoring in Immersive Media Design: Emerging Creatives and Information Science. She works with emerging technologies to develop artistic and innovative products to foster faith-based community. She dedicates her time to serving diverse communities across the Americas, immersing herself in their daily lives to understand their needs and walk alongside them in their journey. She has served the homeless in Mexico, Denver, and soon Argentina. Amanda is inspired by the charity and humility of the people she works with and integrates those virtues into her own life. She now interns with Dance Place, embracing a fresh perspective on art to enhance transformative dance education and development, not only with Dance Place but also with the communities that she serves.
