d. sabela grimes is a choreographer, writer, composer, and educator. Grimes is considered one of the most imaginative and innovative artists in his field. His interdisciplinary performance work reveal an interest in physical and meta-physical Afro-Diasporic cultural practice.

In a workshop entitled BUBBLIN’ BLACK JOY, participants will gather, commune and create in real time, real space and real ways. This gatheRING has one intention: activate a moving meditation of and on Black Joy.
