The Carla Fund for Choreography and Performance

The Carla Fund was established by the Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation in 2017 to honor the career of Dance Place Founding Director Emerita Carla Perlo. The Fund is intended to support the creation of new dance works and residencies at Dance Place. The Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation’s generous four-year gift of $300,0000 supports Dance Place’s long term financial strength while assuring Dance Place’s continued role in nurturing outstanding artists and advancing the field of dance.
