Kshea Hale is a dedicated public health professional and an enthusiastic advocate for the arts. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she holds a Bachelor of Science from Howard University and a Master’s degree from Boston University. With a wealth of experience in public health, Kshea has focused her efforts on improving maternal and child health outcomes and supporting vulnerable populations.
Outside of her professional life, Kshea is deeply passionate about dance. For over 18 years, she has been practicing West African dance and other various dance styles from the diaspora, using movement as a means of cultural connection and personal expression. She also plays the dunun drums, which deepens her understanding of the rhythms and traditions that inspire her dance practice.
Kshea is excited to combine her professional expertise with her love for the arts, striving to support an environment that celebrates creativity and promotes the importance of dance as a vehicle for community engagement and well-being. She believes that dance not only enriches individual lives but also strengthens community bonds.
