Daniel Woofter

Daniel (he/him) practices U.S. Supreme Court and federal appellate litigation as a partner at Goldstein & Russell, P.C. (known for its connection to SCOTUSBlog). He also teaches J.D. students at Georgetown law, his alma mater, and continues to sing for his own pleasure, honoring an early part of his life when he studied opera at The Boston Conservatory. Daniel became connected to Dance Place through his husband, Robert Woofter, a dancer and dance maker (haus of bambi). Former Director Christopher Morgan was the first artist to welcome Robert to the city when Robert and Daniel moved to the area in 2017, and Dance Place has since become an important part of their lives. They owe much to this organization, which Daniel has had the pleasure of serving since he joined the Board in June 2020.
