As DC’s foremost presenter of movement arts, Dance Place forms the lynchpin of dance in our DMV community. For 39 years, we’ve committed to presenting a breadth of artistic visions, to supporting the artists and patrons that call us “neighbor,” and to advocating for equity in the arts on a national and international scale. This year, we refine and expand on that vision as we move towards our landmark 40th Anniversary Season.

The 2019-2020 AMPLIFY Season represents a gathering, an expansion, and sharpening of our mission. We are proud to welcome you to this new year full of exemplary vision and prodigious artistry. Each creator you’ll meet this year touches on these themes in one way or another.
