Become a Volunteer

Known as the “hub of dance activity in Washington, DC” by The Washington Post, Dance Place wouldn’t be what it is without its dedicated and lovely volunteer community! Help foster an open and welcoming environment for audience and community members by being a part of Dance Place’s volunteer program. 

As a volunteer, you might: 

• Work front of house shifts for performances 

• Engage in annual office fun like envelope stuffing 

• Have the chance to support our education program at the front desk 

• Plan small community initiatives

• And more!

Run by Audience Services Manager, Jamison Curcio, volunteers have the unique opportunity to work alongside Dance Place staff and create memorable moments, in exchange for awesome benefits. 

Volunteer Perks:

• receive unlimited adult dance classes 

• a free seat to performances *pending availability of the show. If a show is sold out, volunteers can receive a complimentary ticket to the following production.*
