Dance Place Wants YOU to VOTE

As a member of Dance/USA, Dance Place recognizes and supports the #Dance2Vote Campaign.

The November 2020 elections will have a direct impact on the future of dance and the performing arts in our country. From the children and teachers learning together in our studios, to the artists and administrators creating and supporting performances for our audiences, ALL of our work will be impacted by the upcoming (and every) election. In order to protect and sustain the arts in this delicate time, exercising our civic responsibility as American citizens and ambassadors of the arts sector is essential for all dance artists, educators, students, and supporters.

Dance Place and Dance/USA wants to ensure dance artists, dance professionals, supporters of the arts, and the general public have accurate information about voting during the November 3, 2020 elections and know the relevant issues impacting the dance industry and the arts sector.  Below is a comprehensive toolkit created by Dance/USA that we urge our Dance Place community to utilize.
