Emerging Tap Dance Choreographer’s Showcase

DC-metro area tap dance artists have made their mark on Broadway, at Jacob’s Pillow, and as international artists who perform, educate, produce, and choreograph. Join us as a select group debuts new works in this Emerging Tap Dance Choreographers Showcase highlighting the art of tap dance in its contemporary form. Produced by Percussion Discussion Productions, featuring guests Capitol Tap and District Tap. Capitol Tap is shaping the next generation of tap musicians, dancers, historians, improvisers, technicians, teachers and performers. Guided by Founder Lisa Swenton-Eppard and Assistant Artistic Director Baakari Wilder, today’s young tap artists show how they navigate the world.
