8th St Arts Park Open and Activated!
The 8th St Arts Park celebrated its Grand Opening last week, kicking off Dance Place’s 2016-2017 Season. The Arts Park is the third and final piece of Dance Place’s long-envisioned “Arts Campus” in Brookland / Edgewood — a vibrant, artistic public space connecting Dance Place’s beautifully renovated theater and studios with the Brookland Artspace Lofts. After two years of planning, led by our wonderful volunteer Steering Committee and lots of community input, we are proud to have turned asphalt into art!
