Baltimore DanceTech performs Wade in the Water,a modern dance choreographed in the African American tradition. It pays homage to Alvin Ailey in celebration of his masterpiece Revelations.

The Joy of Motion Dance Center Youth Dance Ensemble Junior Company will be presenting Ignition, choreographed by Joy of Motion Dance Center's director of Programs and Services, Heidi L. Schimpf. Exploration of the human condition is the impetus for the piece, Ignition. The piece is inspired by a series of question about what makes us tick as humans. What ignites our passions, fears and desires? What causes us to put up barriers for deep connections to others? Ignition aims to discover the answers through movement, images and gesture.

The Joy of Motion Dance Center Youth Dance Ensemble Senior Company will be presenting Past-Beginnings, choreographed by Kelly Moss Southall, dancer and technical director for Dana Tai Soon Burgess and Co.

Bach Concerto is a new original work by Maryland Youth Ballet faculty member Christopher Doyle. MYB will perform an excerpt featuring their pre-professional dancers in an abstract expression of Bach's beautiful music.
